# TZGyn Homebrew Tap
Casks and command-line formulae for TZGyn apps. Hosted on Gitea — the full URL is required when tapping.
## Install
```bash
brew tap TZGyn/tap https://gitea.tzgyn.dev/TZGyn/homebrew-tap.git
brew trust TZGyn/tap
brew install --cask kapture
```
Homebrew may print an "Unsupported tap" warning for non-GitHub taps — it's
harmless.
## Formulae
### share
BitTorrent-style swarm file sharing CLI. A single binary serves as the client
(`send`/receive), the background daemon, and the relay:
```bash
brew install share
```
Seed a file into a new room (prints a room code):
```bash
share send file.txt
```
On the other machine, join that room — everyone in it both sends and receives:
```bash
share <code>
```
Releases carry macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Linux builds; the formula
currently installs the Apple Silicon build.
## Casks
### kapture
Menu bar screenshot app with on-device OCR:
- Press **Cmd+Shift+S** anywhere — hover highlights a window (click to capture
it with rounded corners), or drag for a region
- The screenshot opens in a window — drag on it to select text, **OCR Selection**
to recognize just that area, **Get All Text** for the whole image
(English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean); **Save PNG** and drawing annotations
included
- Everything runs locally via Apple Vision; no network calls
### simpletopbar
Hamburger menu bar app. Its panel collects every other app's menu bar (tray)
icon plus the running apps:
- **Menu Bar** — other apps' tray items found via Accessibility; click one to
open its real menu, or optionally hide them from the real menu bar so they
only live in the panel (best-effort)
- **Apps** / **Background Apps** — running apps; the background section is a
dropdown that hides overflow behind a **Show N more** row
- Click a row to activate the app; right-click to Activate, Hide, or Quit
## Releases
Releases are published to each app's Gitea repository as zips attached to
version tags; the casks in this tap point at the latest release. Releases are
notarized (Developer ID + stapled ticket).
